Challenger Components Ltd - WIN an iPod Competitio

Terms and Conditions

  1. Only one entry per customer site will be accepted.  Entry into this competition will be deemed to constitute full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. No responsibility is assumed for any lost, delayed or incomplete entries.
  3. To enter, the customer must place an order with a shipment date prior to 31 December 2008 for Amphenol eco|mate to a VAT exclusive value of not less than £500.00.  Any exchange rate calculation will be at rates set by Challenger Components Ltd.
  4. To be valid, orders must be in such form as required by Challenger Components Ltd in its standard terms of business. 
  5. Orders must be received by Challenger Components Ltd by the 31 October 2008 and acknowledged by the 7 November 2008.
  6. The prize consists of one third generation Apple Ipod Classic.  No substitute or monetary alternative will be offered.
  7. The draw will be conducted on the 20th November 2008.
  8. The prize winner will be drawn at random.
  9. Notification of the draw result will be to the prize winning company.  Normally, via the person who placed the order.  Though Challenger Components Ltd reserves the right to notify whichever company representative it regards as appropriate.  Anyone, wishing to know the result of the draw can write to the promoter, Challenger Components Ltd,  at the company’s registered address which is Unit 1, Church Road Business Centre, Sittingbourne, Kent, ME10 3RS.
  10. The promoter is not liable for any costs, claims, damages or loss suffered by any person as a result of entering or winning this competition occasioned by any failure, however caused, in the fulfilment of the terms of this competition, except that no term in this competition will operate to limit the liability of any party for death or personal injury caused negligence.
  11. If the promoter, in its reasonable opinion, believes that a person or company is deliberately manipulating entries into this competition, the promoter may exclude such person or company from this competition.
  12. If any tax is levied by the Inland Revenue in respect of the award of any prize pursuant to this competition, such tax levied will be the responsibility of, and paid by, the winner to the Inland Revenue.
  13. The promoter reserves the right to reject any application that it deems to be fraudulent.
  14. The promoter’s decision is final and binding on all matters regarding the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
  15. These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
