ELECTROLUMINESCENT
LAMPS
Nippon
Graphite Industries has combined its expertise in material
and screen printing production techniques to produce an electroluminescent
lamp with superior life expectancy and brightness characteristics.
The FlexEL product line will allow the expansion of EL backlighting
into pagers, cordless phones, watches, clocks, palmtop computers
and other display devices. In addition to fostering new approaches,
Nippon Graphite also offers potential new ideas within products
not currently using this technology.
Nippon
Graphite Industries have developed the FlexEL series with
the attention totally focused on quality, capability and meeting
your production and design needs.

Features:
1.Brightness
Uniformity; Nippon Graphite's world-class screen printing
technology allows the highest level of control in printing
the luminescent layer
2.Cold
Light; Because FlexEL lamps does not emit heat, it allows
them to be directly attached to the back of an LCD. With
a total thickness of less than 0.25mm (10mils) your package
can be even more compact.
3.Flexibility
& Freedom; Nippon Graphite's long experience with screen
printing on film as fine as 25µm means that they can use
thinner base films. Less material means greater flexibility
and freedom for you, the designer, to do what you want with
a lamp.
4.Interconnection;
As the worlds leading manufacturer of electroconductive
heatseal connectors, Nippon Graphite is the only manufacturer
able to integrate a heatseal adhesive directly into the
lamp. This does away with the second process and improves
reliability with monolithic construction. In addition to
anisotropic conductive adhesive, Nippon also supply FlexEL
lamps with solderable leads or with a flexible etched copper
connectors.
5.Multiple
Colours; Green, Blue and Orange are the three primary colours
available, but through mixing dyes and proprietary manufacturing
process, Nippon can create any colour you wish including
multiple colours and multiple lit segments on the same lamp.

product is designed for individual products and applications.
